This bowl with three mackerels dipping their heads down into the dish is an early example of the pattern. When I’m developing a new design, I will sometimes try different variations out on bowls to see how they ’feel’. I love drawing mackerel they are such a beautiful fish, and this has become one of my favourite patterns.
There is nothing wrong with this piece it is reduced to make space for my new designs.
An original design by Julia Linstead, Glass.
Hand blown lead crystal bowl
The pattern is hand drawn and sandblasted into the surface of the glass, so each piece is completely unique.
Approximate size 10.5cm high 28cm diameter
Price includes postage to mainland UK only (Parcelforce 48).
Please allow 2 weeks for delivery.
